Thursday is almost friday which is almost saturday

It has been like 48 hours since I last posted, and I think I am suffering from blog withdrawal. Today was just a great day. I woke up feeling very refreshed, which is always a great sign. I had to print a paper and edit it before I went to class, but this was an easy task for me when I was feeling so great. Walking to class with my friend John was intersting because he had not slept all night. He had stayed up all night playing Civilization 4, his new addiction. He was a little goofier than normal, but very entertaining. We talked about how hopeful we were that his roommate Pat would open his poetry folder in class only to find that there was a sports bra tucked in it. It was a pretty funny thing to think about for us, however I do not believe that Pat brought his folder to class which was quite a dissapointment. Oh well you win some you lose some. So in film today we watched a movie that I had seen once before and didn't really enjoy the one time I watched it before, but this time was different. When I first saw Rushmore I must have been too young and naive to get the jokes that were in it or something, because watching it in class I enjoyed much more than I had thought I would. I guess my tastes have changed since the last time that I saw it. I did really enjoy the other two Wes Anderson movies that I have seen. Life Aquatic is one of my favorite movies in the last view years. I like the way the relationships between peope are used in his movies. His music is also well chosen. Most everything is tastefully written, but still very funny. They all have another common thing within them Bill Murray, who has accelled in my mind during his recent carreer in films. I enjoy the melodramatic comedies that he has been found in. They just play to my mood and mindset very well I guess. After class I went outside and as John and I were walking towards the hill we noticed that the band that was playing on campus was the band of one of our floormates from last year. The band, Chester Bay, has played around town before, but it was really enjoyable to stand outside in the breeze and listen to them play some good covers of Tom Petty, John Mayer and even Elvis songs. After standing around long enough to get cold it was time for us to be on our separate ways. I had to go drop off a job application and John had to go up to his room and sleep, that poor baby. When I got back after turning in my application I had hoped to also take a nap, but I was unable to fall asleep. Oh well I at least got to relax a good amount. Now after having finished the little homework that I did have for tomorrow, I am relaxing to the pleasant sounds of the Twins. They are losing but at least we get Fox Sports Net now so its at least tolerable. They arent giving up many rus, it is currently 0-1 as they trail the Royals, but they just cannot seem to get the runners in. They have left the bases loaded twice in this game. I really just think they have had a sluggish start batting. The pitchers have also not started that well, but are beginning to get back on track. Well I think I have covered all of the ground that I really wanted to for today.
Movie of the day has to be Rushmore. If you have written it off after watching it once try it again and maybe you will really enjoy it.
Song of the day is: Under Pressure----David Bowie and Queen
thats all for now, don't be a stranger!
