finally!

Well it won’t let me log in to my blog page, so I am writing this in Microsoft Word with the intention of posting it if that bug gets fixed. If not then I will have to start a new one so who knows what will happen. Well I have not written in probably a week, I had wanted to, but I never really just sat down and wrote it so that got in the way of getting it written. Ok so lets see what has happened in the past week. I have been working a lot, mostly at night so I’m usually awake really late. I requested to have last Friday-Monday off so I could go home and visit my family, but I was given a shift from 6-midnight on Friday, but luckily I was able to find someone to work for me. I spent the weekend at home which was nice and relaxing, I didn’t really do all the much. Well that’s not true I did some stuff. I went to the Twins game on Saturday night it was a pretty rough game. The blue jays crushed the twins; they just could not get anything going. That was the story of the whole weekend for the twins. On Sunday I went to see a movie with my friend Miles. We went to see Talladega Nights, I will talk about it later. Other than those things I hung around the house and just relaxed and rehabilitated my back. My back feels much better maybe not quite 100% but it still feels much better. So we get to Monday, I had to get up early (still at home in Minnesota) because I had a dentist appointment. I swear that the Dental hygienist was ripping my gums apart; I am surprised I did not scream out in pain. After that I watched some scrubs while I waited for my brother to come home and bring me back to Eau Claire. We had a nice trip; it was quick with a lack of traffic, which is pretty much what I consider to be a nice trip. We stopped by my work so I could check my schedule. It turned out they had scheduled me for that day eve though had requested off. This is the only complaint that I have about that place, but still had I come back later that evening I could very well have been fired. I guess it was my fault for not calling in and finding out when my next shift was. I walked home from work on Monday because I could not find a ride, but it was soothing, and not to mention that I can use a little exercise. I did the same thing tonight intentionally, because I really need to take some initiative and get some exercise, it is so much nicer to walk home while having some music to listen to. I was watching ESPN just now and say that Chad Greenway is out for the season, well that is really a bust for the Vikings, he was the first round pick and will not get to see one down of play in the regular season. Well I am running out of thoughts now, I think I will be trying to post more often that I had been, because school will be starting up soon. With school I will have more on my mind to share.

Movie of the night: Talladega Nights: the Ballad of Ricky Bobby, this movie was funny. I think everyone goes into that movie expecting that because it’s Will Ferrell and what movie has he been in lately that was not just hilarious? The movie does not really have all that much plot, but I don’t think I would expect it to have that much anyway. Not really a must see, but if you want to laugh go and see it. I would give it a 2.5 out of 5. Roger Ebert on the other hand gave it a 3.5 out of 4, which I think is outrageous. The movie does not really accomplish anything, oh well he is a guy that gets paid to review movies and I’m just a guy does it for fun.

Song of the Night: Imagine----John Lennon, this has got to be one of my favorite songs of all time. For those who don’t know this song is about communism, real communism, not the kind that is practiced in a few countries. It talks about everything in the world being equal for everyone, and how that would really solve all of the problems. When I did report on Bob Dylan in High school I found out that this was one of his personal favorites which is a cool fact.

Thats all for now, I am outta here.
