Should I do homework or blog?
Well I am just super tired today, I really should just go home and sleep instead of staying on campus and trying to be productive. I guess I should have gone to bed right after work last night but i decided to stay up way too late instead. At least blogging gives me an excuse to avoid my homework. I guess I am also avoiding finishing my business plan because once that is done I am pretty much dont with school. I guess I just want to hold on to this for about as long as I can.
Being here in the library is so serene and peaceful. There are people all around yet I can't hear them making any noise. I like that I have blagging as an outlet for my mind. I guess it is nice to just spill my thoughts on the page, not literally of course, that would be gross and would leave me well, dead. I actually think that there are a few people who will read my blog too, I feel so special.
Well this past friday my high school's football team won its game in the state semifinals and is going to be playing in the state championship two days after thanksgiving. The team started the season 1-3 but has won 9 straight games since then. I think it is a pretty sweet story, I also think that they will get lots of people to cheer for them being the cinderella of this year's tournament. They have a chance to beat a team in the final that beat them in the first game of the year. Northfield just beat the #1 team in 4a 31-12, and many people at the star tribune have been saying that it was more orono giving the game away than Northfield winning it, but I still think that it takes a lot to get 8 turnovers in a game. I also think a major advantage that the Raiders had was the previous state tournament experience of the coaches, sure the kids still had to play a great game, but the coaches were able to psych them up in order to play as good of a game as they were able to.
I am going to go see them play in the championship 2 days after Thanksgiving, if anyone else would like to join me feel free to let me know.
I would say that I am doing very well right now with the exception of frustrations that I am having at work. I am tired of not getting time off when I request it. I request off for things that are important, like presentations i have to give in the evening, yet I still dont get them off. I really think it is about time for me to leave mega. I guess I just want to make sure that there is a job out there some where for me. I guess if it comes down to it, I will have to pull a no show because this is my last semester and there are going to be times that I can't work no matter what becuase I have other stuff going on. This is the second time that I have requested off and not gotten the time off that I had needed. I had to find people to fill shifts for my trip to Chicago which I had requested off for at least a month in advance, I give more than enough time fo rthem to find someone else to cover all of the shifts i might need to work, but they just seem to lose all of my notes. Oh well I guess I will have to deal with it.
I guess I just need to let all those frustrations out.
I need to get to work now i guess :(
